The extensive tests conducted on 4.0292 and 4.0291 spotlights by the independent "LED Institute, Dr. Uwe Slabke" have once again confirmed their supreme technical standards and extraordinary pro- duct quality of the series.
The testing being performed covered all areas of thermal, electrical engineering and lighting technology. Also, a TM-21 analysis and an LM-80 test were performed successfully. The certificate can be viewed on demand.
Approved for a water temperature of 40 degrees
A warm pool is a great place to be, especially in the current cold season. And if it’s also lit up in an atmospheric light, enjoyable relaxation is guaranteed.
No need to worry about the hot water damaging the spotlights. This is because all the underwater spotlights listed below are officially tested and approved for an ambient temperature of at least 40 degrees Celsius.
These spotlights can be used in warm water of at least 40°C without any loss of durability. Under normal conditions of around 24-28°C water temperature, this also has a positive effect on the lifetime.
This applies to the following series: 4.0050, 4.0052, 4.0102, 4.0202, 4.0291, 4.0292, 4.0490, 4.0492 and 4.0502.
If it needs to be even hotter: Just ask us! We specialise in all kinds of special applications and have extensive testing facilities in our in-house test laboratory.
Approved for water depths of
10 metres
We leave nothing to chance when it comes to the tightness and robustness of our spotlights. That is why we have run an extensive series of tests to verify and approve the majority of our lights for a water depth of at least 10 metres.
This once again emphasises our quality standard and the resistance of our products to all external conditions.
The approval for water depths of 10 metres also opens up new special areas of application, such as industrial tanks, pressure tanks, drinking water tanks or for use in flooded areas.
This applies to the following series: 4.0011.15, 4.0012, 4.0050, 4.0052, 4.0072, 4.0080, 4.0083, 4.0086, 4.0093, 4.0095, 4.0097, 4. 0100, 4.0102, 4.0171, 4.0192, 4.0195, 4.0195, 4.0199, 4.0199, 4.0202, 4.0240, 4.0291, 4.0292, 4.0299, 4.0302, 4.0305, 4.0362, 4.0365
If you want to go even deeper: The 4.0290 (up to 15 metres) and 4.0490 or 4.0492 (both up to 25 metres) spotlights set the standard. And even greater water depths are possible on request.
