Let’s face the facts: quite a many lighting ideas have already been developed. One of the most impressive ideas is well known all over the world and approximately 4.5 billion years old: the sun. Not quite as old but all the more versatile and much easier to reach is the WIBRE company. We have specialised in the craft of creative lighting solutions. Technical perfection and innovative ideas are the strong points our customers can confidently rely on.

Actually, the company started out in a completely different sector. Founded in 1919 by Wilhelm Breuninger in the German Bundesland of Mecklenburg, WIBRE initially produced white goods for everyday use. Electric kettles, immersion heaters, toasters, soldering irons and hair driers – our name was already at that time a synonym for technical perfection and innovative spirit. In 1953, the company moved from Mecklenburg- Vorpommern to Baden-Wuerttemberg. Relocation went hand in hand with the company’s entry into the market for lighting technology. The first fountain spotlight and diverse spotlights for shop window lighting left our production facilities. One thing, however, did not change: we still manufactured our products with passion for perfection.

At the end of the day, it is this quality that matters! Our continuous growth reflects our strong comwithment to this principle. With 50 employees working at our Leingarten headquarters and numerous national and international agencies, we are able to offer a light product range that leaves no desire unfulfilled. Be it lighting applications for swimming pools, fountains, decorative water displays, bridges, parks, buildings and facades or professional lighting design both outdoors and underwater – as a manufacturer of outdoor and underwater lights made of V4A stainless steel with protection systems IP67 and IP68, WIBRE has become an international market leader.

However, we do not take our success for granted. Our products have become even more maintenance-friendly and durable through permanent optimisation and advancement. Thanks to creative lighting solutions, we are able to meet the highly individual requests of our customers even more effectively, while at the same time complying with all safety regulations and standards. This is why an ever increasing number of national and international architects, lighting designers, wholesalers and speciality retailers rely on our quality. And every night, a few more WIBRE lights go on: in fountains, on buildings or in swimming pools.
